HVAC Copper Piping Solutions by Perfect HVAC Solutions
Copper piping is the lifeline of refrigerant-based HVAC systems - connecting indoor and outdoor units of split AC, VRF/VRV, and DX systems. Perfect HVAC Solutions delivers premium copper piping installation services across India, using only branded refrigerant-grade copper with proper insulation, joining, and pressure testing.
Why Quality Copper Piping Matters
Substandard copper piping is the #1 cause of refrigerant leaks, system failures, and premature compressor burnouts in AC systems. Refrigerant-grade copper must be ACR (Air Conditioning and Refrigeration) certified - oxygen-free, properly cleaned, properly sized, and joined with quality brazing alloys. Our work meets these specifications strictly.
Our Copper Piping Services
- Split AC copper piping (small projects to large multi-unit installations)
- VRF/VRV copper piping with header and branch fitments
- Ductable AC copper piping with proper sizing
- Chiller refrigerant piping for DX systems
- Branded copper supply (Mexflow, Mandev, Rajco, Mexpipe)
- Proper nitrogen brazing and pressure testing
Materials and Components
We use only ACR-grade copper from trusted brands - Mexflow, Mandev, Rajco, Mexpipe - in standard sizes from 1/4 inch to 4-1/8 inch outer diameter. Insulation is closed-cell EPDM rubber from Aeroflex, Armaflex, or KFlex in 9mm to 25mm thicknesses based on pipe diameter and application. Brazing uses 5-15 percent silver brazing alloys for clean strong joints.
Installation Best Practices
Our copper piping installation follows manufacturer guidelines and best practices - proper pipe sizing per refrigerant capacity, minimum bend radius observance, support spacing per code, nitrogen purging during brazing, sight glass and filter drier installation, system pressure testing at 4-5x operating pressure, vacuum drying to 500 microns, and proper refrigerant charging with weight measurement.
Insulation and Protection
All copper piping is insulated with closed-cell elastomeric foam to prevent condensation and energy loss. Outdoor sections receive UV-resistant cladding (typically aluminum sheet or PVC). Indoor sections are properly sleeved through walls. Concealed runs in false ceilings and shafts have access provisions for service.
Pressure Testing and Documentation
After installation, every copper piping run is pressure-tested with dry nitrogen for 24 hours minimum, ensuring leak-tight performance. Documentation includes pipe routing diagrams, brazing record sheets, pressure test reports, and refrigerant charge logs. This documentation supports warranty claims and future service.
